Community Education

NEWSD maintains an active educational program for people to learn about service dogs and how they enhance the lives of persons with disabilities.

Our volunteers and training volunteers travel to service organizations, schools, clubs, social groups, corporations and other gatherings to conduct special presentations throughout the year, which can include:
Demonstrations of service dog skills in-training
Interactive demonstration (audience/dog)
Handouts appropriate to age level of audience
